Propel Property Leadership Academy

Propel Property Leadership Academy is a vocational education institution offering a certification program that trains participants in short-term rental and property management operations, small business entrepreneurship, and leadership. Our program is structured in two phases, with eight progressive modules that combine classroom instruction, real-world simulations, supervised apprenticeships at active properties, and capstone projects, moving learners from hands-on operations to strategic business ownership.

Certified graduates may then enter a three-to-six-month Business Incubator & Launch Program offering personalized coaching, access to operational systems and vendor networks, business formation support, and ongoing alumni resources to help them launch or scale their own property management business.

From Operator Mindset to Business Owner

Phase 2 advances graduates into strategic leadership territory, covering business planning, financial management, team development, and a capstone business launch project that produces a ready-to-implement operational plan.

From Certification to Independent Business Launch

Certified graduates can enter our Business Incubator & Launch Program, receiving personalized coaching, access to proprietary systems and vendor networks, and hands-on support to launch or scale their own property management business.

Our Curriculum

Delivered across eight modules and 240 hours, the curriculum builds progressively from hands-on operational skills, including guest experience management, dynamic pricing, platform operations, and vendor coordination, to strategic business leadership, covering financial planning, team development, and growth strategy. The program culminates in a complete, ready-to-implement business launch plan presented to faculty and mentors.

Module 1: Property Operations & Guest Experience Management

This module builds the operational foundation of professional property management, covering everything from day-to-day coordination and quality assurance to risk management and regulatory compliance, with supervised apprenticeship shifts on active vacation properties.

Module 2: Revenue Optimization & Platform Operations

Learners develop practical skills in dynamic pricing, multi-channel guest acquisition, and financial reporting, applying them directly through live platform management and booking coordination on real properties.

Module 3: Maintenance, Vendor Coordination & Property Asset Management

This module equips participants to select and manage vendors, execute preventative maintenance programs, and oversee property refurbishment projects, with hands-on apprenticeship experience coordinating real maintenance and improvement work.

Module 4: Foundations of Hospitality Business Systems

Participants are introduced to integrated operational systems, financial controls, and legal frameworks specific to short-term rentals, while developing the business-owner mindset needed to advance into Phase 2.

Module 5: Business Planning & Financial Leadership

Learners build comprehensive business plans and financial models for vacation rental and property management operations, with a capstone element requiring them to produce real financial projections and a launch or growth strategy.

Module 6: Leadership, Team Development & Organizational Management

This module develops the people-management capabilities essential to running a hospitality business, covering staff training, contractor oversight, leadership communication, and human resources fundamentals, applied through designing and delivering live training sessions.

Module 7: Strategic Growth & Innovation in Hospitality

Participants explore how to scale operations, identify new revenue streams, and build a distinctive market presence, drawing on marketing and branding principles, partnership development, and case studies from successful vacation rental businesses.

Module 8: Capstone - Business Launch & Sustainability Project

Learners produce and present a complete, ready-to-implement business plan, including an operational manual, financial model, marketing strategy, and risk management framework, serving as the direct gateway to the Business Incubator & Launch Program.
